NEPAL, 9N. 9N7AR is QRV using CW and SSB on 40, 15, 12 and 10 meters. His length of stay is unknown. QSL via JR8FEK.

QATAR, A7. Jabor, A71BY, is now QRV using SSTV. QSL via F5PYI.

EASTER ISLAND, CE0. JA7KXD is QRV as CE0/JA7KXD, using CW and SSB on 40 to 10 meters. His length of stay is unknown. QSL to home call.

KYRGYZSTAN, EX. EX2A and EX8F are both active on 160 meters starting around 2100z until 2300z. QSL direct. Igor, EX2U, is QRV using SSTV. QSL via IK2QPR.

MARQUESAS ISLANDS, FO. Pekka, OH1RY, and Jaakko, OH1MA, will be QRV as FO0KOL and FO0SIL, respectively, from January 7 to 13. QSL to home calls.

SAUDI ARABIA, HZ. HZ1AB has been QRV on 160 meters CW at 1500, 1700 and 0000z. QSL via K8PYD.

JORDAN, JY. Pete, N3FNE, is QRV as JY9NE, and can be found on 40 to 2 meters. He will be here until the year 2000. QSL to homecall.

MIDWAY ISLAND, KH4. Ted, NH4/NH6YK, has been QRV on 21295 khz around 2300z. He will be here until January 10. QSL to home call.

PERU, OA. Cesar, OA4QV, is active as OA464QV in January to celebrate the 464th anniversary of the founding of Lima. QSL to home call.

BANABA ISLAND, T33. Karl, DL1VU, is now active as T33VU, and may be here for the month of January. Activity should be on all bands, using mainly CW. QSL to home call.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, T9. Edin, T97M, has digital communications capabilities, and will be active on RTTY, AMTOR and PACTOR. QSL via K2PF.

IVORY COAST, TU. Aldo, I2AOX, and March, IK2CHZ, will be QRV from the QTH of TU5IJ from January 12 to 25. Activity on all bands, using CW and SSB, is expected. QSL to I2AOX.

AUCKLAND AND CAMPBELL ISLANDS, ZL9. The ZL9CI operation is in full swing. They are now active on all bands. QSL via ZL2HU.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. Contesters will certainly be busy this weekend. The Japan International DX CW Contest, Meet The Novices and Technicians Day, Hunting Lions in the Air Contest, QRP ARCI Winter Fireside SSB Sprint and the North American CW QSO Party are scheduled.
