MIDWAY ISLAND, KH4. Frank, AH0W/OH2LVG, is heading up an international team of ops for a serious operation from Midway, slated for early August. QSL via KE7LZ.

FAROE ISLANDS, OY. Listen for Ingo signing OY/SM0DSF for 2 weeks starting June 22. QSL via SM0DSF CBA or bureau.

GUINEA BISSAU, J52. Dave, KC9IM, leaves the states July 18 for a two year assignment with the State Department. He hopes to be on the air as J52IM sometime around mid-August when equipment arrives. Plans are to be on 40 through 10 meter CW and SSB. Try the 14236 and EU DX Nets, and the 10 Meter PT DX Net. Some RTTY is also planned. QSL via KB9XN.

UGANDA, 5X. Peter, ON6TT, has received the call sign 5X1T. He will be QRT for two weeks starting June 21 when he returns to Belgium on holiday. QSL via ON5NT. One of Peter's technicians, Ake, SM4ARJ, may be QRV as 5X1AR or 5X1ARJ soon. Father Sebastiano, 5X4C, remains QRT after the April attack on his QTH.

WESTERN MALAYSIA, 9M2. Tex, 9M2TO, has received a 4 element Yagi for his 6 meter station.

TAIWAN, BV. Listen for BO0KS from Kin-Men Island, IOTA AS-102, July 26 to 29. QSL via BV2KI.

AMERICAN SAMOA, KH8. Don, N5OLS, will be on the air as KH8/N5OLS over the next three years, all bands/modes. Try 14218 and 14224 for SSB, or 14030 kHz at 0300z for CW. QSL via AA5BL or direct to Don Barclay, Box 8, Pago Pago, AS 96799, USA.

SYRIA, YK. Marco, VE3MJQ, operates from the Golan Heights occupied station as VE3MJQ/YK. He has only 2 more months left in the camp before he returns to Canada. Check around 14200 kHz from 1900 to 2200z. QSL via VE3MJQ.

ZAIRE, 9Q. Piero, IK2BHX, will sign 9Q5HX until the end of June. He operates most of the time on 30, 20 and 17 meters and works both CW and SSB. QSL via IK2MRZ.

YEMEN, 7O. Geraldo, IK8JAF, is here on business for about a month and has received an operating license. Listen for 7O1JAF on Thursdays and Fridays from 1600z between 14200 and 14220 kHz, and from 2000z on 7075 kHz. Another trip to Yemen is scheduled for October. QSL via IK8JAF CBA.

SOUTH PACIFIC DXPEDITION. Ted, K8AQM, Jeff, N8CC, Brian, KG8CO, Kurt, KG8DS and Dave, KB8ECG, will be radio active from several Pacific locations for 1 month starting July 1. Though an all band effort, they will concentrate on 160 through 30 meters. RTTY is planned for KH8 and 5W during the North American RTTY QSO Party July 20 and 21. They will also be active in the IOTA Contest. QSL all calls to AA8HZ unless directed otherwise over the air. Here is their schedule. Majuro Island in the Marshall group, V73, July 1 to 4. Ponape Island in Micronesia, V63, July 4 to 7. Truk Island, also in Micronesia, V63, July 7, 8 and 9. Palau Island in Belau, KC6, July 10, 11 and 12. Japan, 7J3, July 13 to 17. Maui Island, Hawaii, KH6, July 17, 18 and 19. Ofu in American Samoa, KH8, July 19 to 24. Apia Island in Western Samoa, 5W, July 24 to 29.

WALES, GW. The WestNet DX group will be on from UT-124 during the IOTA Contest July 27 and 28. The call they will probably use is GW4VEQ.
