NIGERIA, 5N. Pete, W0AW, Mike, N9NS, Joe, K8JP and Vincent, G0LMY, will be on the air October 22 to November 3 operating CW and RTTY on HF. They will also work through satellites RS12 and AO13. They will sign 5N9N during the CQ WW SSB Contest. Two more ops are needed. Contact W0AW if interested. QSL via N2AU, direct only.
LIBERIA, EL. Carl, K4YT/DL4YT, will be active for 2 or 3 weeks from Monrovia, starting August 12. No call sign was mentioned. QSL via K4YT.
NEW CALEDONIA, FK. JE5WIM will be operating mostly CW from August 10 to 14. QSL via home call.
SVALBARD, JW. Not only is JW6RHA on the air, but also Inger, JW8KT, and Turid, JW9THA. Try 7048, 14248, 21248, and 28500 kHz for their SSB. Some CW may be worked. QSL JW6RHA via LA6RHA, JW8KT via LA8KT and JW9THA via LA9THA.
CORSICA, TK. Paul, F2YT, will sign TK/F2YT August 18 to September 2. He will also try to activate a coastal island or two.
SYRIA, YK. Some 20 or so operators from Germany will sign YK0B during the first week of October. CW, SSB, RTTY and satellite operating is planned. QSL via DL8HCZ.
EGYPT, SU. Bob, WB2DIN, received the following info from Ezzat, SU1ER. Listen for the SU DX Net on 14220 kHz at 1500z Fridays and Saturdays, with SU1ER, SU1SK, SU1GS and SU3AM handling NCS duties.
ANTIGUA, V21. Alan, V21BF, is now active on 6 meters.
