SWAZILAND, 3DA. It has been reported that two different operations will be active from here on all bands in the CQWW SSB Contest. One group will be active as 3DA0DX as a multi/single entry. Outside the contest, several of the operators will be using various 3DA callsigns. QSL via WJ2O.

UGANDA, 5X. Gus, 5X1D, has left the country as of October 11. QSL via SM0BFJ. Peter, 5X1R, is still active. QSL him via SM4ARJ. 5X4F is back on the air from his QTH in Arua. QSL via his new QSL Manager, K3SW.

WESTERN MALAYSIA, 9M2. Tex, 9M2TO, reports that he built and installed a 80/160 dipole, so begin looking for him on these bands. QSL via JA0DMV through the bureau or direct to Terutsugu Izumo, Bukit Dumbar Apt. 9-4, 97 Jalan Thomas 11700 Gelugor, Penang Island, Malaysia

MALDIVES, 8Q. Josep, EA3BT, and his wife Nuria, EA3AOK, will be active as 8Q7BT and 8Q7OK respectively, October 23 through 31. US stations should look for them on RTTY on 14085 kHz between 1600 and 2000z. Asia on 15 meters between 0300 and 0800z and Europe on 15 meters between 1100 and 1600z.

MOZAMBIQUE, C9. Jon, 3DA0CA, will be active as C91CP starting at 1500Z on October 23 to 0500z on October 28. Activity includes the CQWW SSB Contest. He will be on 160, 40 and 20 meters. QSL via W4DR.

SABLE ISLAND, CY0. WA4DAN, AH9B, VK2BEX, and V73C are planning to be active from here October 21 to 29. In addition to the DXpedition, they also plan to operate in the CQWW Contest. QSL via WA4DAN CBA.

ANGOLA, D2. Alex, PA3DZN (aka 9X5EE, 9Q2L, etc.), has arrived in Luanda, and has received the callsign D25L. QSL via PA3DMH.

GRENADA, J3. A group from the Yankee Clipper Contest Club, YCCC, will be active from here on November 16 to 26. Operators are WA1S as J38AA, K1XM as J38AB, W1FJ as J38AC, KM1P as J38AD, KQ1F as J38AE and K2WR as J38AF. Contest callsign unknown at this time. The backup callsign may be J38AA. QSL each operator via homecall. All contest QSLs via KQ1F.

NEPAL, 9N. Jack, W4OSN will be QRV as 9N1OSN from Kathmandu on 80 through 15 meters from October 14 to November 28. He will be using a solar powered Ten-Tec Scout.

TUVALU, T2. Ron, ZL1AMO, is now signing T28RW. Ron hopes to work 160 or 80 meters.

MYANMAR, XZ. The XZ1N DXpedition to Myanmar remains on course. Final approval have been received and all but last minute details remain to be worked out. This will be a large scale operation, with a chance for everyone to have this location in some new and exciting ways. Look for XZ1N to be multi-multi in the CQWW CW Contest. The team departs for Bangkok on November 26.
