INFO

C53HG Gary (homecall WA1JBB) left Gambia after three years of activity. His manager, W3HCW, handled more than 20.000 QSLs by this time which are about 50% of the QSOs Gary made. Gary hopes to hit the airwaves from Namibia (V5) some time in September.

FG F6BUM who is the manager of FG5HR plans to be QRV from the QTH of FG5HR (possibly signing FG/F6BUM) from July 7-14. After that both will travel to those islands:

July 15-21 Les Saintes (NA-114)
July 21-28 Marie Galante (NA-102)
July 29-30 La Desirade (NA-102)
They will be active in CW and SSB. QSLs via F6BUM.

KH4 Like announced before the MIDXA is planning a major DXpedition to Midway Island in mid August. The operation led by AH0W/OH2LVG will last for 7 days. Other members of the team are UA3AB, WA7LNW and AA7A. They intend to be active 24 hours a day running two 1.5 kW stations simultaneously in CW/SSB/RTTY on all HF bands. They will put their emphasis on working Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the US eastcoast. The QSL route has not been published yet.

ZD8 Jim, N6TJ, will be QRV again as ZD8Z (all bands, CW/SSB) July 9-17. QSL via VE3HO.
