PACIFIC

A3 - TONGA Paul, KK6H, will stay in Tonga for half a year but possibly longer. He will arrive on July 31 and will be active as A35RK as soon as he put up all his antennas. Paul plans to work in CW/RTTY on 40m-10m.

KC6 - BELAU JA6VZB plans to work as KC6VW around the end of 1996 or beginning of 1997.

KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND Besides of the large scale DXpedition by the group led by OH0LVG/ AH0W there is also NH6D/KH4 who plans to be QRV between July 25 and August 8. QSLs for this activity as usual via KL7H/W6.


AFRICA

5X - UGANDA Gus, SM5DIC, will be active as 5X1D in CW and SSB on 80m-6m until the end of October. QSL via SM0BFJ.


EUROPE

HB0 - LIECHTENSTEIN A group consisiting of DL1AZZ, DL1AQU, DL3ASK, DL3ARK, DL4AMK and DG0OGM will activate this very popular country from August 24-31. They plan to be active on 160m-70cm in CW/SSB and via satellite (AO-10, AO-13, FO-20, RS-10, RS-15). They applied also for a 6m licence. Skeds can be arranged via: DL3ARK @ DB0MV.#HES.DEU.EU.

OJ0 - MARKET REEF OH1VR, OH0RJ, OH2KI, OH2BDP, OH3MEP and OH6PJ will be on this reef from August 1-4. They plan to be on the air with two stations in CW/SSB/RTTY on 160m-10m on the usual DX frequencies. Equipment will be e.g. a beam, a R5 vertical and longwires. OH3MEP will be active especially in RTTY mostly on 14084 kHz. They also think about activating 6m. Calls used will be OJ0/homecall.

FS I4ALU plans a holiday trip to St. Martin from where he will be on the air in CW signing FJ/I4ALU from August 13-25.

JD (Og) Gary, W5VSZ, is the leader of a group of OMs who will activate Chichijima Island (counts for Ogasawara) from August 14-21. They will work in CW/SSB/RTTY on 80m-10m emphasizing the WARC bands. Announced frequencies are: 3505, 7005, 14022, 21022 and 28022 kHz in CW, 083 kHz for RTTY and SSB on the usual DX frequencies (mostly split operation). The call will be JD/7J1AYK and QSL is requested directly via Gary, W5VSZ.

PACIFIC During his stay on Tonga Paul, KK6H (A35RK), will make a short trip to Fiji (3D2RK). Other possible destinations for short trips are Rotuma, Vanuatu, South Cook, Niue and French Polynesia. Paul's QSL manager will be W7TSQ. Attention: Please send NO cards via the A3 bureau!

S9 Antonio, LX2DW, will be active from Principe Island signing S91DW between August 29 and September 2. He intends to work in CW and SSB on 40m-10m. QSL via homecall.

YB1AQS Joerg (DL8WPX, ex YB6AVE) became QRV with his new call. He prefers to work in contests and on the lowbands. The QSLs for YB1AQS will be handled by Falk, DK7YY. Falk prefers QSL via bureau.
