ANTARCTICA

VP8 - SOUTH SHETLANDS CE9AAP from the Chilenian Capitan Arturo Prat Base is QRV on 14180 and 14210 kHz daily from 2230-0200 UTC. QSL via CE2LOL.


PACIFIC

5W - WESTERN SAMOA During the fourth stop of the OKKDXF Pacific trip (DXNL 1082) they will be QRV as 5W0SZ and 5W0VV from March 5-23. Perhaps there are also KH8/KF4MIN and KH8/WP2AIH active from American Samoa at this time. QSL via OKKDX Foundation.

KH1 - HOWLAND ISLAND After stopping on Palmyra and Kingman N4BQW/mm (14152/14226 kHz) is now heading for Howland Island. K4AU/WH1 (QSL via K4AU) in SSB and WA4FFW/NH1 in CW (QSL via WA4FFW) shall be QRV from March 5-11.

KH3 - JOHNSTON ISLAND Al, KK5ZX, arrived on March 3 and hopes to be active from the club station between March 10 and April 10. QSL via K3SX.

KH5K - KINGMAN REEF Chuck, N4BQW, became QRV as N4BQW/KH5K for 24 hours on Feb 26/27. Afterwards he rejoined the Palmyra Team again to operate from KH1 (Howland Island). QSL via WA4FFW.

KH6 - HAWAII Tamaki, KH6/JG1OUT, should be on the air in CW and SSB on 10-40m from March 7-10. QSL via JA bureau or to his CBA.

T32 - EASTERN KIRIBATI T32O is on the air from Kiritimati daily on 14131 kHz at 1830Z. QSL via WC5P.


AFRICA

CT3 - MADEIRA Walter, CT3XN, is active until March 12. QSL via DJ6QT.

ZS - SOUTH AFRICA The ZS26BI activity from Bird Island (DXNL 1079) shall take place from March 9-13.


AMERICA

C6 - BAHAMAS Ray, AA6EW/C6A, is QRV from Great Abaco Island (NA-080) from March 1-14 (including ARRL SSB Contest). QSL via AA6EW.

PJ4 - BONAIRE Tom, K2TW, and Noah, K2NG, are QRV as PJ9G in the ARRL SSB Contest.

HR - HONDURAS Bruce, HR6/W4OVU, and Julio, HR6/WD4JNS, are QRV from Roatan Island (NA-057) on 6-80m from March 3-10.

J3 - GRENADA Harry, W8KKF, and N9NS shall be QRV again as J37K(?) and J3/N9NS(?) from March 4-10 and during the ARRL SSB Contest. During the week they are QRV on the WARC bands. QSL via homecalls.

VP2V - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS Bob Denniston, W0DX/VP2VI (ex W4NN), made the first DXpedition to the Bahamas signing VP7NG in 1948. He and other former operators will use the SX-28A transceiver from that time signing VP2VI/50 on 10-40m on March 14/15. QSL via AB1U.

VP5 - TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS Will, AA4NC, is active as VP5NC in CW and RTTY on all bands from March 3-10 (including ARRL SSB Contest).

ZF - CAYMAN ISLANDS Joe, W6VNR (ex WA6VNR), is QRV again from Cayman (NA-016) signing ZF2AH in the ARRL SSB Contest. Prior to the contest he is QRV in CW on the WARC and lowbands. QSL via W6VNR, also via bureau.

FS - ST MARTIN Eddie, EA3NY, participates in the ARRL SSB Contest as FS5PL from March 4-9. He plans to call for Europe on 40/80m during the nights.


ASIA

3W - VIETNAM Anders, SM0ORV, is on the air from Hanoi signing XV7SV on 15-80m until the end of June. QSL via homecall.

9M2 - WESTERN MALAYSIA Brett, VR98BG/VS6BG, is on the air as 9M6BG again especially on 30-80m and perhaps also on 160m between Feb 26 and March 10. QSL via VS6BG, Brett Graham, Box 12727, Hong Kong, China.

Iris A Colvin, W6QL, former President of the YASME Foundation, passed away at the age of 83 on February 18. The Colvins became well known all over the world by activating more than 100 rare DXCC Countries since the mid 40's.
