3D2/T2 - FIJI/TUVALU Mat, JA1JQY, Sasi, JA1KJW, Kaoru, JA3MCA/1, and Kuni, JA8VE/1, were announced to be active as 3D2SH, 3D2HI, 3D2TK and 3D2KZ in CW/SSB between Apr 30 and May 9. Their T22JY, T22KJ, T22TK and T22VE activities from Funafuti shall take place on all bands from May 2-9. QSLs via homecalls.

V6 - MICRONESIA Tach, JE1SCJ, is QRV as V63MT in CW/SSB/RTTY. His length of stay is not known. QSL via JE1SCJ.
ZL - NEW ZEALAND Ed's activity as ZL4IR/p from Stewart Island (OC-203) lasts from Apr 24 until May 1. QSL via W8WC.
5Z - KENYA Graham, 5Z4GS, returned from his holiday on Apr 16. The labels for all QSOs till March are printed and the photo QSL shall be ready soon. He prefers 12 and 17m. QSL via WB2YQH.
6W - SENEGAL 6W1PZ, 6W1EX, 6W1RD and 6W1QP will be on the air as 6V1A from AF-045 on May 1/2. QSL via ARAS, Box 971, Dakar, Senegal.
A2 - BOTSWANA John, A25/G3HCT, will be QRV from May 1-10. QSL via G3HCT.
FT5W - CROZET ISLAND Gilles, F5AGL/FT5WH, lost his transmitter on April 17. He is still looking for a solution of this problem.
FM - MARTINIQUE Pertii, FM/OH2RF, is QRV from FM5BH's station in CW/SSB especially for Europe starting on May 1. QSL via OH2RF, Pertti Turunen, Sulkapolku 1 A 2, SF-00370 Helsinki 37, Finland.
HK - COLUMBIA Gerard, F2JD, received his new callsign HK3JBR (former HK3/G0SHN) to be QRV in SSB and CW on all bands for at least one more year.
8Q - MALDIVES Pierre, HB9QQ, is QRV as 8Q7QQ from Velidhoo especially on 10 and 6m until May 1. QSL via bureau to HB9QQ.
9M - EASTERN MALAYSIA Tex, 9M6TO/p, will be QRV from Redang (AS-073) on 6-40m from May 1-4.
9N - NEPAL Kazu,JA8MWU, is QRV as 9N7WU on 14180/21280/28480 kHz from May 3-12. --- Fred, WF6Z, is active as 9N7ZA mostly on 14158 and 14175 kHz from 8000m a.s.l.
P5 - NORTH KOREA Martti Laine, OH2BH, who worked from North Korea in 1995 already hit the airwaves again as P51BH on April 21. He was QRV on 20m CW around 0530 UTC, on 14195 kHz SSB around 0640 UTC and on 21295 SSB until 0800 UTC. This sixth trip to North Korea was only another one as a preparation for P5 to hit the airwaves officially sooner or later. The antennas and radios were left in P5 and it is only a matter of switching the power on - when the time is ripe. Martti made 263 QSOs mostly with Europe and Japan. Bill Kennamer, K5FUV, thinks that this was an important step towards the North Koreans to join the ranks of amateur radio. The documentation will be sent to the ARRL shortly, and QSL cards will be released from the OH2BH Finland address as soon as possible. Martti returned to Beijing on Thursday.
ZC4 - BRITISH SOVEREIGN BASE AREAS ON CYPRUS Jeff Proctor, G0WSA, is stationed in Episkopi until 2001 or 2002. He is QRV as ZC4JP in CW/SSB/RTTY/Pactor on three to four afternoons/ evenings per week. Right now he is running 100 watts from TS-850S into a dipole. QSL via RSGB bureau to G0WSA.
