A3 - TONGA Hrane, YT1AD, and Dragan, Z32AU, announced to hit the airwaves as A35AD and A35AU between Sep 26 and Oct 3. QSLs via homecalls, also via bureau.
FO - FRENCH POLYNESIA Marcel, ON4QM, is staying with FO5QS and FO5NL for a few days and will be QRV mostly in CW on the high bands from Hereheretue (OC-052) for one month starting around Sep 25. He will then return to Tahiti and may then activate Maupihaa (OC-057) until Nov 25. QSL via ON4QM.
KH0 - MARIANA ISLANDS Hidetoshi, KH0/JH8KYU, will be on the air from Saipan (OC-086) during the WWDX RTTY Contest on Sep 23/24.
KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND While staying on Midway Ted, NH4/NH6YK, may be on the air in SSB on 6-160m during his spare time from Sep 17-21. QSL via bureau or CBA. --- W1VX/KH4 (QSL via JF1OCQ) and NB6A/KH4 (QSL via JE1RXJ) are QRV from OC-030 operating in CW/SSB on 6-80m from Sep 22-24.
T8 - CAROLINES Shun, JH7IMX, is on the air from Palau signing T88SW from Sep 21-24. Before and after the WWDX RTTY Contest he is operating also CW/SSB and perhaps PSK 31 on 10-80m. QSL via JH7IMX.
3B6 - AGALEGA ISLAND The 3B6RF DXpedition to Agalega is realized by 19 participants from nine countries who will operate six 1 kw HF stations, one 6m and a SAT station in CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31 from 28(!) tents from Oct 8-24. Un- fortunately the distance between the islands is not big enough for a new DXCC entity. More information, sponsors and online logs can be found on http://www.agalega2000.ch. EA8 - CANARY ISLANDS During the WWDX RTTY Contest Tim, N4GN, will operate as EA8BH on all bands this weekend. QSL for EA8BH via OH2BH. Outside of the contest he works as EA8/N4GN, QSL via N4GN.
J5 - GUINEA-BISSAU Surprising everybody Baldur, DJ6SI, working as J5X (CW) and Franz, DJ9ZB, working as in J5Z (SSB) hit the airwaves on Sep 17 and will stay there until Sep 25. Since one radio broke, they can work only one mode at a time. QSLs via homecall, also via bureau.
HC8 - GALAPAGOS ARCHIPELAGO On Sep 15 the contestants Trey, N5KO, and Steve Merchant flew to Galapagos to prepare the HC8N efforts during CQ WW RTTY Contest. They will be joined by Glenn Vinson, W6OTC, Glen Johnson, W0GJ, and his son Mark, N0MJ. QSL for HC8N via AA5BT.
HR - HONDURAS A Spanish team accompanied by HR1JMA, HR1LAS, HR1ORS, HR1PRN, HR1HFB and HR1LW is underway to build up new packet radio digipeaters in Honduras from Sep 16-25. E4 - PALESTINE 10 Japanese guys (JA1AFF, JA1PBV, JA1UPA, JA1UT, JH1UBU, JL1TRH, JR1GDR, JS1QHO, 7K1REG and 7M4CHT) shall be QRV as E44/homecalls working in RTTY, on 30m and 6m (beacon 50.115 MHz) from Sep 21-24. QSLs via homecalls.
