AMERICA

VP9 - BERMUDA N1LJA plans to be on the air as N1LJA/VP9 in SSB on 40m-10m (QRGs: 14260, 21360, 28460 kHz) from June 9-15. QSL via homecall.


ASIA

HL - SOUTH KOREA Members of the Hanyang University Radio Club plan to activate Bogil Island (AS-085) signing HL0C/4 in CW/SSB on all bands July 24-26.


AFRICA

9U - BURUNDI Peter, ON6TT, who is active as 5X1T was heard in CW/SSB/RTTY from the QTH of Alfredo, 9U5CW, during the past few days.

9J - ZAMBIA Hans, KN6DI, should be in the country for 1 to 3 months starting on June 1. He tries to become active as 9J2DI in SSB only. QSL via AA6BB.

EA9 - CEUTA & MELILLA Alboran Island and La Nube Island (AF-042) will be activated by EG9IA and EG9IN from June 14-16. QSL via EA4URE.

FR/T - TROMELIN ISLAND FR5ZQ plans to become active as FR5ZQ/T in SSB and CW for a few weeks starting in July (21300/21320 kHz after 1500Z).


EUROPE

3A - MONACO Ralf, DL3JSW, and perhaps also other members of the announced HB0 DXpedition intend to come on the air from Monaco and Seborga around July 14.

CU - AZORES Leonel, CU3EJ, will work as CU8L from Flores Island (EU-089) and also from Corvo Island (also EU-089) signing CU9L from June 6-11. QSL via homecall.

GJ - JERSEY Jim, G3RTE, and Phil, G3SWH, plan to be active with two stations simultaneously signing GJ3RTE/p (SSB) and GJ3SWH/p (CW) on 80m-10m between June 28 and July 1 (depending on the weather). All QSLs will be handled by Phil, G3SWH, who is active as SV8/G3SWH from EU-067 right now.

GDXF A first official meeting of the newly founded German DX Foundation will be held at the HAMRADIO in Friedrichshafen (June 28-30). The membership documents shall be ready until then. For members there will be also the possibility to buy a T-shirt (DM 35) with the GDXF symbol and the callsign of the member on it. By the way, all interested DXers may become members of the GDXF!
