KH6BZF SPECIAL PROPAGATION REPORT for the CQWW SSB DX Contest for the weekend of October 25-27th. DX contesters will make the bands highly active and it will appear that bands and paths normally thought to be closed, open up and surprise you. On the first evening propagation will be slow as we should be recovering from an active GEOMAG period. So, work those Asia and Oceania areas the first evening. While on the 27th (Sat/Sunday), the bands are expected to be better. Last year at this time Solar Flux was in the mid-to-high 80'. This year the mid 60's to low 70's will be the norm. Note, band will close earlier and open later than last year. CU on the bands. Remember: Have fun.....KH6Bloomin'ZipperFlipper

3C1, EQUATORIAL GUINEA. Teo, EA6BH, and others will be active as 3C1DX in the contest. Their activity has been cut short/delayed due to the work stoppage in France's airports. They hope to be active from October 24-31st.
