EASTERN MALAYSIA, 9M6. The Special Event callsign 9M6HIL will be used from the Hillview Gardens Resort in Keningau, Sabah, on August 5 to 24. Operators will include N2OO/9M6OO, N0RN, VS6KY/ZL1TX and a number of local 9M6s. The permanent callsign for the resort will be 9M6AAC. QSL 9M6HIL and 9M6AAC via N2OO.

TAIWAN, BV. BV2KI and others will be QRV as B0OM from July 24 to 31. They can be found on 160 to 2 meters, and will be active in the upcoming IOTA Contest. QSL via BV2KI.

SVALBARD, JW. Jurgen, DJ3KR, may be active from here as JW/DJ3KR until 20 July. QSL to home call.

SWEDEN, SM. Special Event callsign 8S3JR will be used to celebrate the memory of King Chulalongkorn from Siam, now known as Thailand. He visited Bispgarden in Jemtland 100 years ago. This operation is in conjunction with the opening of a museum to commemorate the King's visit. QSL via SM3CVM.

CENTRAL AFRICA, TL. Claude, TL8BC, is QRV most days, and can be found between 14118 and 14132 khz around 1600 to 1700z. QSL via F5IPW.

CHAD, TT. Jean Pierre, F5TRP, will be active as TT8LJP. He will be QRV using CW and SSB until October 15, 1997. QSL to home call.

SAINT PAUL ISLAND, CY9. Robbie, VY2SS, Bob, VY2RO, Bill, VY2LI, Art, VY2KHZ/W3KHZ, and Paul, VY2CD, will be QRV from July 23 to 31 as CY9SS. They will operate primarily RTTY and 6 meters. QSL via VY2SS.

ST. HELENA, ZD7. Gilbert, ZD7BG, is active using CW on 80 to 10 meters. QSL to PO Box 157, Jamestown, St. Helena Island.

PIRATE OPERATION INFORMATION. The operation by 9K2ZZ on July 4 was by a Pirate. Do not send QSLs for this operation to 9K2ZZ's QSL Manager W8CNL.
