AZERBAIJAN, 4J. Yannick, F6FYD, will be QRV as 4J0FR until January 6. QSL via F6AJA.

ANTARCTICA. 8J1RL is QRV from Syowa Base on Ongul Island, IOTA AN-015, on 40, 20 and 15 meters, using mostly CW. QSL via the JA bureau.

NEPAL, 9N. Brad, KV5V, will be QRV from the QTH of 9N1ARB during his January 1 to 12 operation. He will operate using CW and RTTY on 80 to 10 meters. There will not be any newer band operations. QSL to home call.

AZORES, CU. Matt, DL3KUD, will be QRV as CU1/DL3KUD from Santa Maria Island, IOTA EU-003, from December 29 to January 7. He plans to operate on the lower HF and newer bands. He will use mostly CW, with some RTTY operations. This will be his first time using RTTY. QSL via the DL bureau.

KERGUELEN ISLAND, FT/X. Helios, F6IHY, is QRV for six months as FT5XN on 40, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters. QSL via F6PEN.

SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. HF0POL will be QRV from the Polish Antarctic station on Admiralty Bay, King George Island. The new operator is Stanislaw, SP3BGD. He will be active mostly on CW and RTTY. QSL via SP3SUN.

THAILAND, HS. Mirek, VK3DXI, is QRV until August 1998 as HS0/VK3DXI, using CW and SSB on 40 to 10 meters. He hopes to receive permission to use RTTY on 160 and 80 meters. QSL via DL4DBR.

LEBANON, OD. Gaby, OD5NJ, has been showing up on 17 meters around 1300z. QSL via operator's instructions.

FERNANDO DE NORONHA ISLAND, PY0F. Tanimoto, PY8IT, will be QRV until December 30 as PY0FT from the QTH of PY0FF, using SSTV on 20 and 15 meters. QSL to home call.

EGYPT, SU. SU0ERA has been QRV on 20 meters around 1300 to 1500z. QSL via SU1ER.

FALKLAND ISLANDS, VP8. Chris has been QRV as VP8CXB on 20 and 15 meters using SSB. QSL via G0TQJ.

CAMBODIA, XU. Harv, XU2FB, is QRV from his new home in Phnom Penh. You will find him currently active on 20, 15 and 10 meters around 1300 to 1600z. He hopes to be active on 80 and 40 meters soon. QSL via N4JR.
