PACIFIC

KH0 - MARIANA ISLANDS Mike, KH0AS, finished his 13-year-stay in Saipan and returns with his family to England, where he will be back on air as M0ALW some time in autumn. Jim, WB4UBD, has Mike's logs since Sep 1997 and all QSOs prior to that date can be processed not earlier than Mike's boxes are unpacked in England.

KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND Bill, NH6D, moved to Midway for several years. He already erected a G5RV and a 160m antenna, still waiting for his amplifier. QSL via bureau to N6FF.

AMERICA

PJ2 - NETHERLAND ANTILLES Bill, PJ4/K5YG, will be QRV especially in RTTY and PSK31 on 20/10m while spending his snorkling holidays on Bonaire (r) from June 4-9. QSL via K5YG.

VP5 - TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS George, VP5/N2GA, and Diane, VP5/K2DO, were on the air from NA-002 from May 3-31. During the contest they used VP5GA (via N2GA). QSLs via homecalls.

ASIA

9M2 - WESTERN MALAYSIA Keith, 9M2/GM4YXI, will be QRV from AS-046 in CW/SSB on 20/15/12/10m on June 3/4. More information at: http://www.gm7v.com

BV - TAIWAN BV9G (QSL via BV8BC) and BV0FDX/9 (via BV6HJ) will be active from Green Island working on all bands from Jun 1-5.

BY - CHINA Fred Ziel, WF6Z, belongs to the American expedition climbing the K2 on the northern route. He intends to be QRV as BT0QGL from the base camp in the Xingiang province from Jun 4 till Aug 15. QSL via K6EXO.

EY - TAJIKISTAN -> AP -> KH6 -> YU8 Peter Casier, ON6TT, was sporadically QRV as EY8/ON6TT for one week. QSL via ON5NT. Unfortunately he could only operate at 9N1AA for one hour, QSL for 9N1AA via N4AA. He doesn't expect to become QRV from Afghanistan on May 30/31. He intends also to activate AP2ARS from Pakistan between May 31 and Jun 1. After that he will spend three weeks on Hawaii and one more week in r (YU8). QSLs via ON5NT.

JA - JAPAN 8J7WGC and 8J7WGC/7 are QRV in CW/SSB on 6-160m during the "World Geothermal Congress 2000 - WGC 2000" between May 28 and Jun 10. This activity is initiated by the Morioaka Club/JA7YCE. QSL via JARL buro

XW - LAOS Hiroo Yonezuka, JA2EZD, is active as XW2A in CW/SSB on 6-80m until Jun 6 and will then go to Cambodia (XU) and Vietnam (3W). QSL direct (with 2 IRCs enclosed) to Hiroo Yonezuka, Box 2659, Vientiane, Laos.

EUROPE

EA6 - BALEARIC ISLANDS Carl, EA6/GW0VSW, is QRV from Menorca (EU-004) mostly in CW on 40-10m between May 29 and Jun 5 (between 0700 and 1700 local time). QSL via GW0VSW.

SV5 - DODECANES Wolf, SV5/DL3DRN, is active from Rhodes (EU-001) until May 30. His QSL will be sent automatically via bureau.

TF - ICELAND Last weekend during the WPX Caleb, AD7U, Hillar, N6HR, TF3DX, TF3GB and others operated as TF3IRA. QSL via TF3GB. QSLs to TF/AD7U (RTTY) and TF/N6HR (WARC) active prior and after the contest should be sent to their homecalls.

TK - CORSICA Kazik, TK/DL2SBY, is QRV in SSB/CW especially on 160m and WARC from May 27 until Jun 10. QSL via DL2SBY.

UR - UKRAINE EM70DXG is a special callsign of the clubstation Lvov which will be active from Mt. Hoverla in the Carpathian Mountains celebrating the 70th anniversary of the first DXpedition in Europe from Jun 2-4. Operation will take place on all bands in CW, SSB and perhaps also digital modes. QSL via bureau to UT1WA or direct to Box 5951, Lviv 79054, Ukraine.
