ALAND ISLAND, OH0 Jukka, OH6LI, will sign OH0V on 15m during the Scandinavian Activity Contest on Sep 27/28. QSL via OH6LI.
ANNOBON ISLAND, 3C0 Vicente, EA5YN, Franz, DJ9ZB (3C0F), Elmo, EA5BYP (3C0A), and Victor, EA5FO (3C0R), are going on a DXpedition between Sep 27 and Oct 11. They will be QRV with three stations in CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31/SSTV on HF and 6m. The callsign will be announced later. AUSTRALIA, VK Bill, VK4FW, will visit a few islands of the IOTA groups OC-160, OC-171, OC-172 and OC-142 for two days each starting on Sep 29. He will work mostly in CW. QSL unfortunately only direct to VK4FW, Bill Horner, PO Box 1343, Maroochydore 4558, Australia. --- Rich, PA0RRS, will be on the air as VK4SRW between Sep 28 and Oct 30. He plans to visit following islands: Magnetic (OC-171) on Oct 5/6, Hamilton (OC-160) on Oct 8, Fraser (OC-142) from Oct 11-13 and Moreton (OC-137) on Oct 15 or 16. QSL via homecall, bureau ok.
FRENCH POLYNESIA, FO Nando, IT9YRE, Alfio, IT9EJW, and Claudio, I1SNW, will hit the airwaves from Maria Island (OC-new, this island belongs to the Austral Islands) for three days starting on Sep 30. After that they intend to operate in CW and SSB from Herehertue Island (OC-052) in French Polynesia for two days. Their pilot stations will be KB5GL and IT09HLR. IRAQ, YI Dane, YI/S57CQ, is back in Iraq and plans to stay until mid October. His QSLs are accepted for DXCC credit. QSL via S57DX.
MALTA, 9H Girts, YL2KL (9H3KKL), Karl, YL2MD (9H3MMD), and Andy, YL2GQT (9H3GQT), will be active in CW/SSB/RTTY from Gozo Island (EU-023) from Sep 24-30. They will sign 9H3M during the CQWW DX RTTY Contest.
MYANMAR, XZ DL7DF, DL7BO, DL7UFR, DL7KL, DJ6TF, DK1BT and DL4WK are signing XY7A between Sep 30 and Oct 17. They will operate with one station from the capital and another one from a village at the sea in CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31/ SSTV on 6-160m.
