INFO

9U The call 9U5DX has been allocated to Jean-Pierre, 9U/F5FHI. His QSLs are handled by F2VX. Alfredo, 9U/EA1FH, received also a new callsign and is now active as 9U5CW. His QSL manager is EA1FFC.

P5 Due to the actual political situation in North Korea chances do not seem to be very good for a soon activity from P5. Not only OH0XX and OH2BH who planned to be active as P51XX and P51BH are willing to go there but also the Chinese radioclub tries to get a licence as P51DX. Latest rumours indicate also that the former ZA1A crew tries to put this rare country on the air! Sanyi, HA7VK (ex XU7VK and XU95HA), and his wife Judit, HA7RJ, will stay in Pyongyang from May 21 until the mid of July. They are still seeking for help to obtain a licence in P5. Last not least the members of the XY1HT team led by JA1UT are thinking about a visit to North Korea.

ST1AP Claus will go QRT on April 26.

World Radiosport Team Championship 1996 (WRTC-96) On July 13/14 the WRTC-96 will be held near San Francisco. This is a contest where 52 teams from all over the world will compete under nearly identical conditions using the same QTH, antennas and power. The teams are consisting of two operators and will use the calls W6A-W6Z and K6A-K6Z. They will take part also in the IARU HF World Championship which takes place on the same weekend. Good luck!

HH2PK: KA9RLJ the former manager of this station has still 3000 QSLs which he could not confirm yet because he did not receive any logs from HH2PK for a long time. Therefore it could be a good idea to not send QSLs to the new manager 9A2AJ until he confirmed that he got the logs of HH2PK.
