PACIFIC

JD1 - OGASAWARA ISLAND JH2ENF/JD1 shall be QRV mostly in CW from Iwo Jima (Kazan Archipel) about 250 km south of Ogasawara.

ZL8 - KERMADEC ISLAND These are the announced frequencies for the DXpedition taking place from May 4-14:

CW: 5 or 20 kHz from the band edge
SSB: 1830, 3775, 7065, 14195, 18120, 21295, 24940, 28395/28495 kHz
RTTY: 14080, 21080 or 7040 kHz


AMERICA

FO - CLIPPERTON ISLAND Jay, WA2FIJ, is interested in a new Clipperton Island activity. He is seeking for assistance and states that a possible date could be March 97. The last activity from Clipperton took place 5 years ago.

ZF - CAYMAN ISLAND Mike, W5ZPA, will work as ZF2PA in CW/SSB/RTTY from May 19-25. QSL via W5ZPA.


AFRICA

3V8 - TUNISIA Hrane, YT1AD, will be QRV from the clubstation 3V8BB again from May 23-30. QSL via homecall.

CT3 - MADEIRA After returning from Porto Santo Hermann, HB9CRV, will be sporadically QRV from Madeira. He spends his holidays there.

ZS8 - MARION ISLAND Chris, ZS6RI, is underway to Marion Island which will be his QTH for the next 14 months. He will be active as ZS8IR in CW/SSB/RTTY on 160 to 6 meters and hopes to be on the air during the WPX CW Contest. QSL via ZS6EZ.


EUROPE

3A - MONACO Tony, IK1QBT (CW), Frank, IK1HLG, and Mauro, IK1CJO (SSB/RTTY), plan to be QRV on all bands as 3A/homecall from May 11-13. QSL via homecalls.

SV5 - DODECANES Fred, SM7DAY, will be active once again with QRP as SV5/SM7DAY/p in CW on 17m and 20m between May 25 and June 14. QSL via homecall.

JW - SVALBARD Rag, OZ8RO, is on the air as JW5HE and plans to work mainly on the WARC bands from May 1-5.

TJ1RA Alberto received his amplifier back from Italy and therefore will be on the air again with a loud signal. He is staying at he Italian embassy until the end of June and will then go to Canada. QSL (bureau/CBA) via I2EOW.

VP8 DA4RG is staying on the Falklands from May till August and hopes to visit South Georgia on a business trip, too. He will try to use commercial equipment when hitting the airwaves from down there. QSL via bureau to DA4RG or direct to GW8VHI.

ZB2 DL1BX and DL7CM will be active like scheduled. Their QTH will be in the same hotel like ZB2FX who is QRV in the moment. They want to activate RTTY which happens quite seldom in Gibraltar and intend to participate also in the RTTY Contest on May 11/12. They are hoping for good conditions to distribute some new bandpoints on 160m/80m and 12m/10m. On their way back they plan to activate also Seborga as T0OU from May 21-23.
