7O, YEMEN. Zorro, JH1AJT, and DJ9ZB, may be QRT by the time you read this. If you do not work them, there is GOOD NEWS! Xavier, EA3BHK, overheard Zorro announce that he was already invited by the Yemen authorities to come back next year, and that it would be at the end of April, 1997.

FR5, REUNION ISLAND. F6AFJ will be active as FR5GM from December 25th to February 15th. He will be on SSB on 20 and 15 meters from 1100-1200z and again from 1600-1800z.

QSL to their respective home calls.

JD, OGASAWARA. Just a reminder that a group of JA operators will be active from Chichi Island (IOTA AS-031) for a very short time. They will be active from here December 23-25th. Look for JA4GXS/JD1, JF4LNO/JD1 (a YL) and JN4AWW/JD1 to be active on 160-10 meters SSB/CW. QSL via JA4GXS.

KH2, GUAM. Jim, KH2D, will be active on 160 meters for the next several months. His operations will be primarly on 1828 kHz from 0800z until 1500z. When possible, he will be on during his sunrise around 2030z looking for European stations. QSLs direct to K8NA or direct to his callbook address.

A message on one of the PBBSs states, "EA1MK says that Martti Laine was in Spea// //Spain the first week in December for the URE (like ARRL) annual convention. Martti announced that P5 would be activated before May 1st with a big operation; more likely in March or April."
