SPECIAL EDITOR'S NOTE: My family (wife/OPDX's chief proof-reader Linda, Tedd [TJ], Katie) and I (KB8NW) would like to wish all DXers, Contesters and OPDX readers a very "Happy New Year". Also, we would like thank the many who have contributed information over the year (there are too many to list). Without them there would not be an OPDX Bulletin.

They arrived on the island on Tuesday, December 16th, after an airplane and icebreaker trip to the island. This island counts as South Shetlands, and the two operators will be active until the end of February. LU1ZC has been very active on CW on 40/20/15 meters and the WARC bands. QSL to LU6EF or the perferred address: GACW, Box 9, 1875 Wilde, Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA.

ZK3, TOKELAU. "The Daily DX" states Peter, ZK3PM, who works for the New Zealand government, will be active from Fakaofu Island for the next 2 years. Peter states he is not a DXer and does not have any QSLs cards. It is suggested that if you work him and want to QSL, you may want to send an index card or a generic QSL with all the information on it so he can sign it. The only QSN OPDX could find on him is that he was reported on December 23rd at 0625z on 14260 kHz. QSL via Peter McQuarrie, Fakaofu Island, Tokelau, South Pacific via Apia Samoa.
